Contains a wide range of fundamental and technical data with 20 years and 48 quarters of history. Contact the David Lam Management Research Library for further information. !-- The COMPUSTAT databases, produced by Standard and Poor's, contain annual and quarterly company balance sheet information on approximately 20,000 firms, as well as about 1000 Canadian companies. For more information, you can check out Standard and Poor's COMPUSTAT Web site. From 1999 UBC has switched from a tape subscription to the new Research Insight Compustat (North America) on CD-ROM in the David Lam Library. Among the features of Research Insight are: Financial Information on over 20,000 companies, active and inactive Historical data up to 20 years Economic sector and industry sector data Macroeconomic data covering 20 years of key monthly statistics The COMPUSTAT Codebook provides a description of each data item, the units used, time period covered, frequency of publication, and references to additional information about the data and its organization. A copy of the codebook is available at Data Services. The COMPUSTAT databases, produced by Standard and Poor's, contain annual and quarterly company balance sheet information on approximately 20,000 firms, as well as about 1000 Canadian companies.
