This dataset draws from a survey of residents in the federal riding of Burrard in Vancouver, British Columbia, just prior to the 1965 federal election.
Variables include: opinions on strictness of schools, nuclear weapons, US as ally, honesty of politicians, death penalty, frequency of election, government pay for doctors, religious instruction in schools, teaching; 1962 and 1963 election vote recall;
1960, 1963 provincial election vote recalls; prime minister vs house of commons; federal election vote intention today; how many seats in house should each party get; how do rich people vote, average people, poor people, farmers, blue collar workers, white collar workers, university professors, doctors, Catholics, Anglicans, United Church members, Jews, Canadian Chinese, French Canadians, young people, older people; major dangers facing Canada, including communism, capitalism, Red China, United States, Jews, Catholics, protestants, French Canadians, trade unions, big business, USSR, automation, American ownership, immigrants; parents' political preference; how would R's spouse vote today, ditto siblings; no. of siblings; how would R's children vote; no. of children; how would R's friends vote; political knowledge; knowledge of local candidates; how would R vote in American election; rating of parties and leaders, i.e. Douglas. Pearson, Diefenbaker, Thompson, constructed differences in ranking between parties and respective leaders.

The data was collected through personal interviews of a random sample of voters registered on Vancouver-Burrard electoral list.
